Yup - my 2003 Aero is 30 - 35mm low all around. I'm trying to fix that right now, as I've broken the front spoiler and I'd like to add a little more height before I put a new one on.
There are three places the suspension could be sagging -the springs, the rubber subframe bushings, and the frame itself. Looking at the undercarriage, I don't think the frame is bending, thank goodness. I do think the subframe bushes are worn, but this appears to only affect hight by a few mm.
Which leaves the springs. Having them all sag exactly the same amount is a little surprising to me, I would have expected the rears to go a lot faster. But I never measured them new, so I'll never know if they've changed w/o buying new springs. What I'm going to do is make up spacers to go on the top of the front springs. Being 5" in diameter they won't be cheap spacers, but I'm lucky enough to have a lathe and some scrap 6" stock.
I can't think of any other way to correct this. Aftermarket springs are all ~1.5 lower than stock so, theoretically they'd be close to what I have now. That said, I'm probably fixing something that doesn't need to be fixed; the enemy of "good" is "better".
Of course, I'm going to take advantage of having everything apart again by throwing a set of Bilsteins in.
