hold up. My 9000s had the same switch, and my wife got her glove stuck in the switch when she hit a semi tire tread. It went right throug the dash, and I didn't get it out until the relay had died.
In any case, if you have the old ring that broke off, and a heat source like a soldering pencil, then you might be able to melt the broken pieces back together. There are bits of plastic you can melt in that reinforce these pieces. I was able to keep my hazard light going on my '95 9000 CSE going for another 3-4yrs before selling. Don't use it often. It is usually the plastic not the switch that gives.
