New Brembo rear rotors are $50 each at eEuro. An indy will hit you for $60 to $75 each.
If you turn the, you still have to take them off the car to turn them, so you have to pay for that labor anyway. And even if they are OK now, they WILL be below minimum well before you need new pads again. So you still get to do it all over before you would need to if you just bought new rotors. And if you need new rotors in another 25k miles, a repair shop will insist you'll need to do new pads then, even though the ones you put on now won't be worn.
So how much do you really save? Nothing. In fact it costs more due to more labor. Considering you probably only do rear pads and rotors once every 80-95K miles, anything less than new is not being smart, it's just being cheap.
Call me crazy, but brakes are one place I'd rather not take the cheapest way out.
