About 1.5 years ago, I paid 24.5k for an 06 9-5sc with sport package, visibility, and vented seats, and CPO and the car had 23k miles on it.
I bet you could tell them you'll give them the asking price if they include the CPO, they will make a big deal about it, but just tell them that is your final offer, I bet they will take it, this has worked for me in the past. Definitely get a CPO one. I've has multiple warranty issues so far with my car (throttle body, left rear speed sensor, a few body/trim issues, 1 xenon buld replaced).
I do love the car though, plenty of speed, comfy, and tons of room. I will say though, if I lived in New England, I wouldn't want one with the sport package because it would be a bit stiff/jarring on New England roads, I love it here in Arizona though.
