Advice - Rebuild Fr Calipers myself or buy Rebuilt ?

I have a 1999 9-5 SE 2.3T (post-Vin 3020001) 137K, purchased used in May '09. Brakes function fine, but when I bled the brakes a few weeks back, I noticed the that the pads on the RH front are about two thirds to half the thickness of the pads on the LH front. I am monitoring to see if they are wearing faster. Rotors have a little grooving, and there is slight vibration upon braking - just enough to bug me.
Figuring prevention is best, I am thinking about new rotors and pads soon. I am also considering caliper rebuild kits and new sloder pins versus rebuilt calipers. I see eEuroparts want about $60/caliper (not incl. core). Would these include new slider pins? Doing it myself I would see exactly what caliper conditions were, but there is a time issue (and time down issue, since my daughters drive the car).
Thanks for sharing experiences and comments.
