What makes it so hard to replace the center pulley? My '04 has 44k miles and one of the pulleys (maybe the tensioner?) makes a lot of noise when it's cold so I was thinking about just having the belt and tensioner replaced soon... but there's no way in heck I want to have the short belt put on. I know my car has the long belt right now. How long do you think it would take a reputable Saab independent shop to do a replacement with the long belt? Or do they just skip the center pulley to save costs on parts? Thanks.
