It reads all codes, and even gathers Freeze frame data, but no online data. I can clear the codes, and it gives a brief description. I can upgrade for a fee, to flash it to also give ABS info. I haven't done that, as the upgrade is almost as much as the unit.
Our 2003 communicates via ISO, but it also supports CAN and other protocols. I was even able to read and clear code on my father-in-law's 1995 Subaru Legacy.
