COmparaed to the Ohtsu Zexius xi326's I had on the 9-5 when I bought it, the Eagle Gt's are a god send, quieter, more traction, much less sidewall flex, drivable in snow and ice, and virtually impossible to hydroplane unless you ought to know better. I find on my 9-5 SE that 40 psi is the best inflation for hydroplaning resistance and the corresponding sharpening of driving characteristics make it my default setting.
Over 13k miles I am at 8/32nds of tread depth so for a moderately aggressive driver I consider these tires one the best combination of real world performance for the price I have had on a passenger car of any flavor. Then again I haven't been driving all that long. Still, they aquit themselves nicely against the Eagle f1-gsd3's on my friends Lancer VIIIand are quite usable in snow.
I could hardly imagine a more natural choice for a non-aero and they are quiet to boot.
