The box end fits over the sensor. The trick is that a 19mm deep socket isn't deep enough - it'll smush the connector. A regular 19mm socket has very little room to move. Reading my report from the first time I did this, it was a big pain. With the wratcheting stubby it took all of 30 seconds.
I went to Sears to get an advertised 8 piece GearWrench stubby set 50% off, but they were out and I found that the set only went up to 18mm. ugh. Orderded the 19mm from Amazon.
