I've installed Bluetooth on a couple of Saab 9-5's. It is supported by a single interface called TEL1 on later models. This interface will only support one device, Bluetooth or OnStar...not booth. This is not only a physical limitation but an electronic design issue as well.
1. BLUETOOTH INSTALLATION ON CAR WITHOUT ONSTAR: This is a straightforward installation. Although, on later model years you will have to add the TEL1 adaper kit ($20 est).
2. BLUETOOTH INSTALLATION ON CAR WITH ONSTAR: Basically, you'll have to unplug OnStar from the TEL1 connector and plug in the Bluetooth cable. You cannot have both.
