...I'm the one who took it out. The mount greatly improved shifting and made the car feel much sportier. But I experienced too much extra vibration at idle in gear, and under acceleration. It transmitted a lot of engine noise and vibration through the cabin of the car. I could feel it through my butt in the seat and didn't particularly care for that. The 2.3t is already a shaky, unrefined engine, IMO, and this mount put it over the top for me. My car only had about 42k miles on it when I tried it, and the rest of the engine mounts were healthy. I know of a lot of other people who have said they don't notice a ton of vibration, so maybe you wouldn't? I still have mine and might give it another go one of these days, but it's not particularly fun to install.
