we'll see when I pull it apart. the part pic on eEuro shows a clip so I thought people might be referring to resoldering right at the button itself on the shifter. but not sure about my original. no biggy. I can solder. been doing that since I was 10.

I think the car is trying to test my patience. it's at 145,700mi and trying to kill me before it hits 150k!

thanks for help! I'll check the WIS tonight and pull out my spare. sounds like a quick job. I've ad to pull the wood trim cover off about 6 times in the last couple months so can do it blind.
