DIY rear pad installation Posted by MontereyAero [Email] (#506) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MontereyAero) on Wed, 17 Mar 2010 18:56:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just received my first set of Akebono rear pads (Part 3 EUR763) for my '01 9.5 I'm not understanding the printed instruction on the back of the box and the WIS doesn't identify the parts listed in the Akebono instructions.
What or where is the "noise insulator"? What or where is the "protective film"? What or where are the "tabs"? Where are the "caliper and pad-to-abutment contact points" onto which I'm supposed to apply Moly-Lube?
Is it possible that the box (with the instructions) does not really belong to these SAAB replacement rear break pads? They were purchased from Eeuroparts.
