Repairing the damaged attachment holes Posted by bstan9k [Email] (#215) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bstan9k) on Fri, 2 Apr 2010 07:15:47 In Reply to: A cheaper route maybe, Link, Fri, 2 Apr 2010 06:56:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Can the round attachment holes in the front bumper cover be repaired ?
Not sure what this front bumper is made of, the section on the sides with the round attachment holes seems like a plastic.
Maybe I can use a heat gun to weld some plastic repair for these damaged holes and then go to NAPA to get a few of the body attachment encapsulated screws that I lost.
This front bumper has seen some abuse (license plate screw holes) and is scuffed/scratched in a number of places, but I may try to repair it.
Has anybody done this repair themselves, or had a body shop do it ?
