...So last week after filling my tank my gas gauge stayed at empty, but then the next day it returned to full and has been reading correctly until today, when it reached about 1/3 tank again. It dropped to reserve. Would this indicate I've got a dead spot on the sender? If I pull the fuel pump up and out would I be able to visibly tell that it's faulty? Thanks.
