Disabled my coolant bypass valve...

My reasoning is if it is not moved, the diaphram should last a longer time (my be flawed..but I am going with it any hoo) It was really simple. All I did was remove a hose from the actuator solenoid (the one facing forward) and seal it with a vaccuum plug.. tested by putting the AC on lo to activate the bypass valve and there was no vaccuum at the disconnected line. We shall see, but I think I am more confident the bypass valve will last longer without actuating. Opinions?
