If pieces fell in after spark plug was removed it is for sure inside the cylinder on top of the piston.
Try to move engine by hand so that the piston is all the way down. That make it easier to see in there with the borescope (or video scope).
Try to use a piece of wire bent in a curve with a piece of sticky gum gum on top and pat it down all around the cylinder liner and piston and see if you manage to trap any more pieces.
