I hope I don't ruin it for myself by saying this, but my 01 Aero has been great, in my opinion. I did the 60k and 90k. I've had the DIC throw CEL's, replaced and later reimbursed by SAAB. I've put in a fuel pump and CPS - neither of which left me stranded, I was tracing a 'miss' that was very intermittent. This year the temperature sender and or thermostat went out.
I rebuilt the front and rear suspension last winter as my rear alignment was off.
Have I spent more then if I owned a Toyota? Sure. Has it been reliable? Absolutely. Is it still a joy to drive at 109k miles? YES!
I think a lot of "reliability" depends on what you put into it. Keep up on the little things and the big things probably won't come up.
Just my .02 I know others have had problems, so at the very least I'm glad to be lucky.
