Just finished the compression test
It cracks me up that everyone recommends doing this on a warm engine. If the engine isn't running, what do you do?
Did the test, and found that all six cylinders built up pressure and maxed out in four cranks. I believe this indicates that the valves are acting the way they should.
Cylinders labeled left to right, front bank first
1 180 psi
2 180 psi
3 150 psi
4 150 psi
5 210 psi
6 190 psi
HMMM I can accept the fact that the engine needs work, especially with 202 K on it. I think the real problem may be elsewhere.
Thoughts anyone?
