Agree. My definition of "tailgating" is somewhat more expanded than usual: I consider any distance where dirt kicked up by the car in front can land on my car as tailgating, and I avoid doing that and give the car ahead of me ample distance, especially if it's a big truck with big wheels. My wife on the other hand follow the textbook "2 second" rule, modified in real traffic to the usual 1 car-length or 1-second rule that most people follow. LOL. It's way too close for my comfort.
