Just bought my 4th Saab .. a 56k mile '04 9.5 Aero, and I've lovin' it. Recently, after 1 hour at 75mph on the thurway, upon exiting the toll booth, I stepped on the gas and somewhere between 1st and 2nd gear I experienced a momentary "slip" of the transmission .. felt like the car shifted into neutral for 1 second, afterwhich function was immediately nomalized. No codes. Took it into the dealer fearing the worst, and they applied some computer update (they told me this "was common in '02's and '03's .. not so frequent in '04's").. car seemed to run great for 3 days, and then I experienced the same 1 sec neutral-like skip yesterday - again, same scenario .. after 75mph for an hour on the highway. 99% of the time the tranmission functions perfectly.

Dropped the car at the dealer last night - will be speaking to them this morning. Want to leave tomorrow for a 700 mile family Thanksgiving visit .. but may have to take the bride's Toyota :/

Thoughts / experiences?
