Winters in Minnesota is brutal!! I bought two (2) sets of these tires recently and one (1) set last winter. Boy, I got them just the nick of time before we were hit with a ice storm... We lost power to our home for 24 hours, but vehicles had no problem traveling through the snow and ice. Matter of fact, we parked our 4x4 Mercury Mountaineer with a big V8 and took my Saab 9-5 everywhere we went. My son's 93' BMW 325i with rear-wheel drive had no problem and my daughter's 2003 VW Jetta GLX (VR6) also had no problems with the weather.

I bought mine on tirerack and had my local tire shop mount & balanced them. I bought mine steel rims off craigslist to save some $$$.

I will buy these tires again and again, or until they changed the pattern and quality of these tires. They actually got better rating than the Blizzack based on tirerack site.
