Dump the car after it's fixed and buy another Saab. I don't believe in rebuilding doesn't matter who did the work either indy shop or the stealership. There's something magical with the original engine came from the factory and it's broken, it would never the same regardless. Not to downplay anyone on this board, but common sense and dollar & sense has to be heard or at least be looked at.
With the market of today, you can buy twice the car, especially Saab for fraction of the price. If you have sentimental attachment to this current Saab, then nothing else anyone can say to change your mind.
