I'm surprised you didn't find the answers using the search options. It has been talked about a lot over the years.
Yes, you can disconnect the siren if that's what's tripping the alarm to go off. Just remove left/front fender liner and unplug the siren.
Yes, you can try to take the siren apart and replace the battery but it is not worth the labor since it is glued together. Better is to send it out and have it rebuilt by any of the rebuilders doing it.
You can have the whole theft alarm system turned off by a shop that have a Saab Tech 2 scanner and the knowledge to do so.
You can install a new siren which is the most costly of the four alternatives.
