Yeah the 9-3s are really flimsy. They are really plain cars with dressed up ground effects and nice wheels. I can't toss my 9-5 around the same way as I could my 900. I don't use the back seat ever... and the rear end hunkers down in when I push it. It just feels like a big car. (This could be because my rear suspension is shot).
I like the 2.0 and 2.3 engines. Which ng 900/9-3/9-5 engine lasts the longest with the least problems?
They are solid engines. I just think that the old 9-3s are cooler and ones with hot color combos are harder to find than 9-5s. And I think they hold their values a little better too if i'm not mistaken. They aren't as safe as the 9-5 though. Watching the NHTSA do a front end crash in a OG 9-3 scared me a little bit with the roof buckling.
