I cannot speak for anyone else's experience with the Glucosamine-Chondroitin regimen, only my own. Having clicking and some restricted motion in one hip in late 1997, I was ultimately seen by an orthopedist who ranged me to 25% motion remaining on the bad side, and barely any more on the other hip. At that point he looked at the X-rays I brought, knowing what he'd find, but finding worse, and said "I cut out hips that look like that!". At that point pain was not the issue, but at age 45 I was not yet a candidate for replacement unless necessary. I discovered "The Arthritis Cure" two days later, and discussed this with my internist, who referred to it as "the miracle cure" having seen it work well for some of his older patients, and was with me on trying it. End result - it bought me 4 years, no improvement, but kept me without pain and with some motion, until finally the restricted movements got so bad I had to schedule the replacements. The final straw was getting down to fix something under the car, and not being able to figure out either how to get down onto my driveway, and then later having the hardest time standing up.
