As to the lights, one thing to try is the orange relay in the relay box above and behind the battery. (The relay is roughly an inch square and is known to give problems with high beam and lamps going out.)
Give it a jiggle while the lights are on and see what happens.
Seeing you did not mention it you may not be aware of the huge amount of posts on this subject (relay) so I defer to those far better than I on those posts for this issue.
As for the seat, no idea. Good luck.
