I'm moderately handy, but not an experienced mechanic. Replacing the green rollers in the driver's door (glass had dropped) and reinstalling the latch-side weatherstrip (the classic door rattle with the window down) took me about two hours. Now that I've done one, I figure the next would only take me an hour. Here are some notes to supplement the excellent instructions previously posted:
--This is a reasonable DIY job. No special skills or tools are necessary, just a moderate level of dexterity and a T30 torx and channel-lock pliers (my old red one from the classic 900 toolkit)
--Getting the door apart is easy. 5 minutes, and you won't break anything.
--You do need to take the speaker off: otherwise you can't maneuver the glass into the channel properly.
--When you're re-installing the weatherstrip, the thick side goes to the inside of the car and the narrow side outside.
--You really have to push and prod to get the weatherstrip all the way in. SAAB should have glued those in in the first place.
--The rollers themselves are easy to do as long as they're unhooked from the arms. If you mess something up, it is hard to get the arms off the rollers.
--Once you have the weatherstrip in and secured, tip the glass into a sharkfin position, then tip it back towards straight while you push or pull to get the front corner of the glass properly into the hinge-side weatherstrip. Then tip back and push or pull until the back edge of the glass is properly in the weatherstrip: not on the outside of the weatherstrip.
--Make sure the glass is in its proper channels not only down in the door, but also above the door and in the windowframe. If you don't have it right, you have to start over from the previous step.
--Don't snap the rollers in until you're sure the glass is right. Look down into the door with a flashlight to check.
--Be careful if you have to take a roller off and you're unhooking the Jesus clip. It'll fall into the bottom of the door, and if you're lucky, it won't get wedged into the inside corner.
--Getting the door back together is easy too, but in your desire to get the job done, don't forget to reconnect the gas filler and trunk release switches, don't forget to reconnect the mirror control, and don't forget to lead the courtesy light wire back out through its hole.

That fine-quality work from the last weatherstrip repair was done by the stealership.
