I'll follow on here + say the same thing. Just bought an 04 Arc (<100k). Fantastic touring car. I like that it has a touch more clearance. Go for the Aero if you can find one + like the lowered stance + seats... but there's a premium to pay for that + it follows you forever in the insurance cost. The 04 arc has about the same power as the earlier Aeros anyway + certainly more than enough for normal roads ;-)...
I would check all the normal stuff. PCV system was good from the factory but oil change history still matters! look at other fluids also (and change when you buy unless there is a clear record there)... small things to look for include wiring harness at the trunk (wire breakage where it flexes), battery cables, exhaust, window rollers... all easy stuff that could be an issue but is easy to diy but might help you haggle the price... oil leaks are still common also, but usually minor + not a huge concern...
