They can be easy and they can be hard. It depends on the getting the sway bar nuts off. I have had to use a saws all on them sometimes. They can be cut off if need be and replaced with new sway bar links. The bearings only have to be replaced if they are bad. I have done about 5 cars, none of them have been bad. Take your time taking the top three bolts off, can break easily especially if using large wrench. A little bit at a time back and forth. I did break one, but no worries since you will be replacing the strut anyway. Just have to get a new bolt. You will probably need an alignment after. .... I have used Monroe with good results. I see you have a 2000, but for those that have a 2001, watch a part number change in the middle of the year for the struts.
