I'm trying to revive this thread to see if anyone has found a solution. My 2006 2.3T does the same thing each summer starting last year (was fine before that). The dealer has replaced: 1) Throttle Housing 2) Crank Position Sensor, 3) Air Mass Meter, 4) DI Cassette 5) Spark Plugs. And I still have the problem when the weather gets to 85 degrees and up. It's most noticable after shutting the car off for a few minutes once it's well warmed up (like running in for milk and eggs). Still under CPO warranty, so I need to get this figured out.
