Started at the air intake and worked my way through the turbo to throttle Body - no leaks or cracks.
Unhooked the battery to force the engine to recalibrate.
Checked/cleaned the MAF.
Checked/cleaned the Throttle Body.
Rechecked all the vacuum connections.
Put it all back together and after a hard start it idled at 3500 again. Crap.
I noticed the coolant temperature wasn't reading. I checked the connection on the engine and the gauge started working - idle dropped to where it should be. Really?!?!
Does that make sense to anyone?
I'm happy it's acting normal again, but I don't really trust it.
Hmmm
