Did you bother to look at the linked page before commenting? The ride height information was removed from the WIS. Manufacturers don't generally remove engineering and maintenance specifications, but rather add to them over time. The specs werenât just removed. The pages were changed. That isnât an accident. Is it a conspiracy? I donât know. It is questionable. The newer WIS makes no mention of ride height whatsoever. You have already agreed that ride height is a critical element to know and address.
I have no problem with maintenance. When new struts/dampers leave the cars with substantial uncorrected sag front/rear in similar amounts combined with the suspicious alteration to the WIS in multiple locations and the similar documented problems with this GM chassis line, one has to wonder. Donât let Saab love blind you to reality. This is an unacceptable issue that shouldnât occur under normal use. Weâre not tweaking race cars here. Weâre trying to live life without have to reengineering Saabâs mistakes.
I was ahead of the curve on the rear issue by several years. I might be right here too.
