The top spacer is the bottom for the bearing. I assume you left the factory spacer in place and added another spacer between the factory spacer and the rubber boot. The factory spacer positions the rubber boot and spring. Does your supplemental spacer also position the boot and spring? Did you design the spacer to lock into the factory spacer or is it free to rotate independently? Are you getting any metal on metal clanging?
Do we need all the spring travel? Can better dampers prevent bottoming? What about a group buy for better front springs? Maybe progressive springs?
