Stephen suggested this but I've done it for years.
I use Rhino ramps and have a 2'foot long 2 x 8 with another 12" long 2x8 stacked on top and screwed onto it at one end. I put this at the bottom edge of the ramp, so when the car is on the wooden part there's an extra 3" of clearance under the front air dam. Then I drive up onto the ramps. A 2x10 would be nicer, but I just used some scrap lumber I had lying around.
My driveway slopes a lot --about 5 degrees or so-- so that when the car is pointed downslope and up on the ramps it is actually about level. This works fine for draining oil, coolant, etc.
The Rhinos sometimes do slip a little when driving onto them but it's no biggie. I'd like to find a way to keep them in one place but it works well and no jacking is involved. I much prefer ramps to jacking when possible.
