My jalousie broke three weeks ago and I ordered a new one from eEuro, cost was around $25 and I ordered other things to get free shipping. Family commitments have prevented me from tackling this repair yet but I want to do it before the weather cools and the plastics lose their temperature induced flexibility - maybe tomorrow night. I need to replace a number of lamps in the console too (lock button, PRNDL indicator, ring around lighter/power outlet, may as well do the Winter Mode button too while I'm in there) so I plan to do the full removal. All lamps are on hand too and have been for an embarassingly long itme.

FixMySaabs pictorial instructions shows the winter mode button coming out the top of the console cover plate.
