My husband just replaced rotors and brakes all around on our '99 wagon. When we apply the brakes now there's initial response on the pedal but then we have to press really hard to actually stop the car . . . as if the pads aren't grabbing. we bled the system and there are no apparent leaks; we checks the vacuum line and it seems okay . . .
Before he replaced the pads the brakes were working fine (other than needing pads and one wornout rotor). Any advice?
