new shocks are nice! I don't think the old ones were in terrible shape (at 80k) but I've noticed an improvement nonetheless...
ride height is the same after a little driving: 25" in the back on 17" wheels. That's a bit high. certainly looks high!
Tested loading it with hitch rack + bikes (big lever arm): 22lb Yakima Hilite rack: drops the back 1/8". 3 25lb mountain bikes on it, another 1/8" or so to about 24.7"...
It goes in for an alignment wednesday. Our indy thinks the -2 degree camber spec from Saab is too much + aligns closer to zero camber.
With the back end 0.6" too high (and the front .75" too low) I think I should lower the back by 0.6". Then with 0 degree camber, loading it will stay in the -2 to 0 degree range. I can easily raise it again in the future if these new wagon springs (on a sedan) sag a little... thoughts?
has anyone raised the front to correct ride height (other than doing springs/bushings)?
thanks!
James...
