I recently put koni sports on our 2004 arc sedan + wagon springs (we load up the car + I want it to not sag so much)... with stiffer springs in the rear, I bumped up the damping of the konis to "+" (180 degrees, they go up to "+++"), so stiffer than how they ship... fsd might be stiffer? they are also more expensive.
I was anticipating a fairly "firm" ride with these changes... the result? smooth like butter... I like this setup so much I'm thinking of getting a set of koni reds for one of our c900s even though it has newish Bilstien Tourings in the back...
one nice thing about the koni rear shocks is they have 2 perches separated by 2 cm, so if you use the bottom perch + things sag after the fact, you can raise the car 2cm in situ (saves having to disassemble the shock assy to add spacers)...
