I have not done this but it is my understanding that there is one pipe / connection that is different enough that you need at least a different washer and / or pipe / banjo bolt. Check out the board.
On some of the other discussions about the LPT Garrett. I have talked with some turbo experts and they say the problem is a combination of a design flaw in the LPT coupled with how the oil flows design in the car. Say's that Saab LPTs are good for his business. Some have failed at very low miles, under warranty, etc. The HPT's are different and clearly better. I replaced 2 i4 LPT and 1 V6 LPT with LPT. I kinda wish I would have gone with the HPT, but so far 1 has about 80k, 1 has about 30k and 1 has about 10k with no problems.
