Ah yes, did not catch the pump running statement, sorry. So, next step I guess would be to remove the pump and see if it pumps out of the tank?
Could remove the feeder line and try, but I think that would just be too messy with gas. Could get a different plastic L and hose it out of the car and test, but would need that extra L.
Could be bad filters in the pump unit? Or as Anders Says, just a bad pump and / or lines not connected correctly internally (or externally)?
Yes the feeder line does have a back flow valve. I guess it could be really stuck. Have not seen this.
