In the past, IF a stick-type tire gauge was included, it was located in the owner's manual pouch. I honestly don't know if any of my 9-5s have had a tire gauge, other than the one I carry (racing-style dial gauge with 12" hose and bleeder) which did not come with the car.
The Saab floor net I have has the clips/snaps more-or-less permanently attached at the corners. They certainly don't come off easily.
You could be right about the holes for the Combi track anchors, but at least the earliest versions came four in a small cloth pouch, so you wouldn't have need for anything else. I think, though, they changed the design of the anchors, possibly around the facelift in 2006. Perhaps the pouch was "out" with that change.
