Rolling the dice on getting some Saab parts Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 26 Apr 2012 17:52:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When I sold my 2000 I grabbed the warning triangle and side net from the trunk to fit my 2008. Unfortunatley, when I tried to remove the locking plastic loops from inside of the trunk lid, which held the case for the warning triangle, I broke both of them.
One locking loop still works but the other consistently falls out of the trunk lid after only a week. The auto dismantler where I got my 2006 wiper arms doesn't allow people to pull parts from their yard (I think they pull everything saleable and crush the rest of the car) so I couldn't look for an old 9-5 there.
Guess I'll see if these loops (discontinued in 2002?) still exist as a repair part.
