Don't buy under pressure -- it is true these incentives seem to only get bigger as time keeps on ticking. If you are so undecided, and are not in any real hurry (the Taurus will hold up for another month or two?) -- take your time and make sure you do what's right for you -- not what's right for the dealer!!!

Are the used dealers giving you an extended warranty? Also, since you're happy with the 2002 Linear, going for a used SE is adding extra $ to your price over the lpt price -- although I don't know what big differences there were between the se and lpt in 1999, in 2001 the only difference between the SE and lpt was the engine. Maybe you can start a new thread posing the question 'what's a great price for a used 1999 lpt, 2000 lpt and a 2001 lpt?'.

As for new, you've got the price on the 2002 -- I don't know which dealer you got that from -- but there's a Saab dealer in Bay Ridge and one right on rt 22 in NJ (JMK, where I got mine) -- either one would probably take u the same amount of time to get to from Manhattan. See what deals they've got.
