Friend has a '08 335ci, really nice car overall and drives equally as well. Have driven it a few times and never felt it needed more power under the hood.
However, be prepared for higher repair and service bills. His recently went out of warranty and spent $2800 to repair the convertible hard top. Part pricing on those make most Saab parts seem down right cheap. Wont get near the MPGs as an inline 4 Turbo, you also wont get the friendly Saab wave. Your friends may also see you in one too :-)
Cant stay in a new Saab forever now that they are shutdown. My clients whom have already jumped ship from Saab typically ended up in an Audi or BMW.
