Chain tensioner re-installation Q:

I am replacing the tensioner body seal/washer and the bolt o-ring.
From what I've read, after removal I need to first install the tensioner body (27mm socket) then install the plunger, spring and bolt. How likely am I to lose the spring during installation? Any technique to doing this right?
