I just did this on my '03 aero.
I did the wiper removal (had done this last winter to change fan controller so was familiar with that part) and removed entire bracket. Only gottcha, which was mentioned here, was to meausure the shaft length on the old brake booster to brake pedal connection. You can sort of tell if it is wrong, as the pedal will not turn off the brake light if it is not right. Had it adjusted to length, but struggled to get new booster into car and ended up ondoing the shaft to get it in position and then tightened it in place. You will know if it is wrong because the brake lights will be on (with no pedal applied). Worth looking at brake light switch before you disconnect the pedal so you have an idea of where the actuator should be. My brakes worked fine beforehand. Hiss was annoying. car seemed a little noisier afterwards. I suspect there was some link to the vacuum link and air intake, but haven't sorted that one out yet.
Did not disconnect any of the brake lines to do this.
