Just did this over the summer.
- The hose clamp pliers are a must
- I removed the fans of course, the battery and box and the heat shield to the turbo
- It may have helped me out that I had the turbo inlet pipe removed as well but this is not needed
- Removing the lower hose was not too hard in my case but I did have to pry it off the water pump due to age
- A good note is when removing the auto trans lines use some string to keep them at the same high angle to stop fluid from leaking
- I did attach the lower radiator hose to the new radiator when installing it. Made it easier due to lack of space when it's in place.
- Make sure to use new washers for the trans lines mounts on the radiator. As well it's a good time with it out to replace the u-shaped water pump hose.
