New owner of 2002 black/black automatic premium package 9-5 linear wagon
Found this site and boy am I bit nervous after reading a number of these posts that we possibly may have made a mistake in buying this car. I sincerely hope not. Our test drives were fine - granted they were limited rides - and so far 35 miles today on/off highway OK. I did not notice the stop light idling mentioned but now I'll probably be more sensitive. Our research indicated we'd be getting a lot of bang for the buck. Was interested in an Audi A4 Avant wagon but couldn't get our hands on oen to test drive let alone purchase. Test drove a VW Passat Wagon GLX & by far the Saab wagon blew it away. So far to me feels like a great riding car. We are first-time Saab owners (most recently Mercedes-Volvo-Jaguar owners) who just felt like trying something a bit different with better mileage and less pretentiousness. I actually wanted a white one - my husband pressed for black. Did we make the wrong decision? I realize maybe those who post are the ones with problems - would love to hear some positives from other 2002 Linear Wagon owners &/or anything in particular we should be looking out for, etc. Thanks.
