Well, I have chased some of these down (2) it is was the alternator. It simply was not charging the system enough, but the car(s) would start fine for a bit (a week or so) and then no start.
If this is happening every night (I have not seen this), then maybe some of the issues already talked about. Also check the recirculation motor. On one car this was broke and running all the time if the AC was on when the car was shut off. If the AC is off when the car is turned of it does not run (99 lpt wagon).
